The BTS Collaborateur Juriste Notarial trains notary's associates.
The holder of the BTS CJN will work in a notary's office. They will work independently on simple, routine deeds, or on instructions for more complex deeds.
A BTS takes two years to complete after a general baccalaureate. This Bac+2 level diploma can be prepared through initial training or alternatively through work-study programs in public and private establishments. It is a state-recognized level 5 diploma, awarding 120 ECTS credits.

- develop expertise in a particular field,
- perform tasks in a truly multi-skilled way, following the file from initial contact with the customer through to archiving.
- devote themselves to the production of deeds in a structure with departments that carry out all post-signature operations.
The BTS is open to all holders of a baccalaureate: general baccalaureate, professional baccalaureate.

Holders of this BTS can work as associates in a notary's office. They will be involved in drafting simple deeds, carrying out formalities and negotiating property for sale or rent.
They will be able to handle files in all areas of a notary's activity, from initial contact with the customer through to archiving, or develop expertise in a particular field.
Training can be financed :
- By the candidate, in whole or in part.
- By the company, in whole or in part.
- By one or more funding schemes, partially or in full (OPCO, Pole Emploi, etc.).
