The BTS Assurances trains students to become technicians, salespeople and managers. They will have to manage claims files and underwrite property, liability and personal insurance policies.
Students will also have to prospect for customers, analyze their needs and offer them insurance, financial or assistance products that best meet their requirements.
Finally, they manage claims files, checking that coverage has been acquired, defining liability and any recourse, and settling claims.
A BTS in Insurance takes two years to complete after a general baccalaureate. This Bac+2-level diploma can be obtained through initial training, or alternatively through work-study programs in public and private establishments. It is a state-recognized level 5 diploma, awarding 120 ECTS credits.

Upon graduation, students will be able to work in insurance companies, brokerage firms, general agencies or banks offering insurance products.
Starting out as advisors, telephone advisors, contract managers, insurance technicians or agency assistants, they can go on to become general agents or insurance brokers.
Training can be financed :
